Church Services & Events
With the goal of spiritually nourishing the lives of our faithful, St Sophia provides parishioners with many opportunities to attend a variety of services and events. Check our program to stay updated about what’s on.

‘Feed the People’ Charity Program
‘Feed the People’ is a Parish initiative aimed at fulfilling our Christian calling to love our neighbour. Surrounded by poverty here in the hub of Sydney, we feel a strong desire to provide support to those less fortunate.

Traditional Greek Dancing Classes
We are proud to announce under the auspices of the holy Archdiocese, in collaboration with the Hellenic Lyceum and with the support of the Consulate General of Greece in Sydney, the formation of our Greek Dancing School.

Our Sunday School Lessons
The St Sophia Sunday School welcomes all children and youth to come and learn about our faith. We have groups for all ages to participate.

Our PAREA Group
& Excursions
Held every Wednesday morning, we invite you to join our PAREA where you can grow in your faith, take exciting trips to beautiful places and interact in an atmosphere of Christian fellowship, caring & companionship.

Monthly Divine Liturgies in English
Dedicated to providing our English speaking parishioners with opportunities to engage with their faith. we’ve implemented a new initiative to perform the Divine Liturgy in English on the last Friday of every month.

Downstairs Hall
Our Downstairs hall is available for hire seven days a week. It is ideal for gatherings of 100 people or less. It’s perfect to hold classes, rehearsals, plays, meetings or any other events.
